Gut Renovation + Furnishings
When we began, this outdated bungalow was stuck in the past. We left no surface untouched. We renewed all electrical and plumbing and redid all floors, ceilings and walls. The interior concept was to blend a mix of classic European design with clean lines found in Japanese design, all while still paying homage to this home’s 1970s past. What makes the project even more successful is turning standard finishes that most people don’t largely consider into design focal points, for example the solid bronze door nobs and the brass 1912 light switches.
